A friend of mine suggested that I 'get this blog on the road', so to speak. The problem is, I don't know where to start, so I hope that you will bear with me while I fumble along for awhile.
I have been working on my blog for weeks now. Trying to set it up and get it just the way I want it (it's still a work in progress). I am pretty 'blog' illiterate. To be honest, I'm pretty computer illiterate. I really hate to admit it but I've been happily living in my little world of illiteracy. I like the luxury of sitting down in front of my PC, clicking my mouse and having things just show up in front of me. When things don't work, I usually find that I just have to unplug a few things, wait a few minutes, plug them back in and "WA-LA!", there they are again. Wouldn't it be wonderful if that was the way life worked?
Back to my blog...I'd like to give credit where credit is due (because that is the way it works in the world of Blog). I found this wonderful tutorial here. It walked me through putting the picture banner at the top of this page and also suggested the use of Picasa, which I must admit is AMAZING. Picasa was able to go into my computer and extract pictures that I didn't even remember I had, much less where they may be. I was also fortunate to find this tutorial on adding tabs to my blog. It's funny how all of this has been coming together. I will sit for hours working on something and finally decide to take a break when it all finally hits me. "WA-LA!" Guess that's what it takes; me 'unplugging' and coming back to it.
For now, that's what I'm going to do - unplug. I have a pile of laundry to fold and a kitchen to clean.
